View from the Ranges

While on Pok Pok Chief Peter insisted I photograph the local elders.This was great fun, as we tried to get as many of the kids involved as well. Pictured above is principal clan elder Peta, surrounded by Pok Pok scallywags.

I have been wandering. Down to Arawa and the tranquility of Pok Pok. These are some of the people I met in the last week or so. Bois with enormous butterflys and lost lenses. Spearfishing bois and “dust monkeys” kerchiefed against the Buka Highway dust. I’m tired and wired. Em Tasol.
