What a social weekend! Dinner last nite with Janet and Grahem. Guest of honour Grannie Annie, who knitted up a storm when not in peals of laughter at Legs (we all were!) No more Yass Show for him! Ol Henry, Rabbit, Johno, Toe and little Alex completed the roll call.Johno’s paintings FABULOUS. Get em out there and hung! Good friends and a great nite. This morning spent time with C.C. who is preparing to move to Victoria. Another valuable friend.Now at “Gang Gang” with the angels playing on FM. Much correspondence to follow up on.I have 1 month to prepare for Bougainville trip. 50/50 chance. No teaching forthcoming. Nothing holding me back but ze mula. ON ON.

Wonderfull nite. Old old friends. The Fabulous Baker girls from my childhood, the Foz and family, the odd dog. I used to walk to school with the Foz in the early 60’s and we have know one another for some 40 years. Now we may go to Bougainville together!(with his son Peter) I could not have a better introduction, as The Foz has been instrumental in Bougainvilles’ peace annd independence.(His family goes back generations there) Much enthused. Still need to find the money, but I feel I’m already on the way. Much to do these coming weeks re above. I must go, besides no teaching work is available. Next week follow up contacts. ON ON.

Doktor Barmy and sundry actors, a director, a builder and a wonderfull cook. What ingredients indeed for a special Crags dinner, with the good Doktor pittying his wit against all comers (me!) Poor little Claudie out early ill, and then all to bed with gusts rattling the ol truck shed. This morning has seen The Good Doktor most supportive with contacts re “The Arc of Instability” and my next visit to The Capital. Much encouraged. Exhibition for the Independence anniversary 2003? The actors trundled off into the bush with Willy on horseback and their director. Now for the mundane in life, LAUNDRY, and then to The Foz, for all things Bougainvillian. On ON !
